MGM and Orion Pictures’ reboot of Child’s Play will feature a reimagining of everyone’s favorite killer doll, Chucky. MGM announced the project this past July and left many fans split in regards to the new film, as original creator Don Mancini is still continuing his narrative in the form of a TV series. The red-headed doll has been terrorizing audiences for 30 years now, and it’ll finally be receiving the reboot treatment next summer....

Cloak & Dagger executive producer Joe Pokaski talks about the latest Marvel TV series’ many MCU nods and tie-ins. The forthcoming Freeform show produced by ABC Signature Studios and Marvel Television features Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph as the titular heroes, Tandy Bowen/Dagger and Tyrone Johnson/Cloak, respectively. Throughout their adventures as teenagers who acquire superpowers, the two gets romantically involved with each other, adding another layer of complexity to their relationship....

Daredevil actor Vincent D’onofrio - the man behind Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk - shares a fan petition in the hopes of saving the series from cancellation. In late-November, Marvel fans worldwide were stunned when Netflix announced the sudden cancellation of Daredevil. The news came mere weeks after Daredevil showrunner Erik Oleson met with Netflix executives to pitch his plans for season 4. It was even later revealed by recurring Daredevil actress Amy Rutberg (Marci Stahl) that plans were already in motion to begin season 4 filming in February, prior to Netflix unexpectedly dropping the axe....

Season 1 of Daredevil ended with something of a victory for lawyer-by-day, vigilante-by-night Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox). Despite the loss of good people and several pints of his own blood, the Daredevil finally managed to take down Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and his criminal enterprise. Hasbro has unveiled the full set of Marvel Legends figures for their Black Panther line, with the announcement that Nakia and Killmonger will be included in the new wave. One of T’Challa’s female bodyguards, Okoye, will be the build-a-figure for the series. At San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Hasbro announced a number of new waves for their Marvel Legends line, along with a Black Panther movie series that will feature Namor the Sub-Mariner (in his classic green trunks) and Black Bolt....

There’s an animated series on the way coming to Netflix from DreamWorks, and as of last month, the Fast & Furious Supercharged attraction now exists at both Universal Studios parks....

Many comic book movies have come out in 2017. Now that we’re in the middle of peak comic book movie adaptations, we’re witnessing a creative renaissance in the genre. If Justice League’s box office disappointment is any indication, it’s simply not enough to just throw iconic characters up on screen any more. The comic book movies that were the most successful this year have strayed from the beaten path and mined new tones and textures....

Command & Conquer: Rivals, the mobile spinoff of Command & Conquer, is now available for mobile devices, arriving with a new trailer. The game switches up the real-time strategy gameplay of the main series with a move into mobile gaming, with a faster pace to try and capture a different tone. First revealed at E3 2018, Command & Conquer: Rivals immediately launched in a pre-alpha form for interested players. Gamers who were long-term fans of the franchise were a little skeptical, with the game’s initial trailer seeing a negative reaction, but publisher EA instead aimed to hone the game with its fledgling community to deliver something substantial at launch....

David Harbour’s character in the Black Widow movie is the Russian Captain America. The Marvel Studios panel at SDCC 2019 officially confirmed Harbour’s long-rumored involvement in the movie, and not only that but revealed just who the Stranger Things star will be playing in the Black Widow movie: Red Guardian. Although Red Guardian may not be the biggest name from Marvel Comics, he is an important one and a particularly interesting choice for the MCU’s Black Widow movie, because he’s the Soviet equivalent of Captain America....

The latest rumors suggest that Batgirl won’t actually appear in Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey movie - but that her alter-ego Barbara Gordon will do so after all. It’s the latest hint that the film will be true to the original comics, which were set after Barbara was crippled in The Killing Joke. Marvel Studios is keeping their post-Phase 3 plans close to the vest. No project has been officially announced past next week’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, but there are a handful of movies already in the pipeline including Natasha Romanoff’s (Scarlett Johansson) long-overdue solo outing, which is already in principal photography....

The Legends have been a revolving door of strange and unlikely heroes since the beginning of Legends of Tomorrow. In the past four seasons, the team has recruited immortal beings, magical creatures, historical figures, warlocks and witches, and familiar Arrowverse heroes. Time after time, the ever-changing roster of teammates and episodic friends have managed to take down the worst of supervillains. Capcom may have revealed when they plan to release their highly anticipated remake of Resident Evil 2. While it wasn’t technically the first survival horror video game, the original Resident Evil helped make the genre popular thanks to its creepy atmosphere, awesome jump scares and players having to carefully manage their limited supplies to survive. The runaway success of the title soon led to a sequel, which some fans consider the highlight of the series....

The directors of Captain Marvel say they can’t wait to see what happens when Carol Danvers and Thanos come to blows in Avengers: Endgame. Captain Marvel, described as the MCU’s strongest hero to date, could serve as a worthy opponent to the Mad Titan in the upcoming film. A character strong enough to move planets may be what the Avengers need when they go up against Thanos a second time....

Brian Fee is a known American storyboard artist, animator, and - now - a director for Pixar. HIs directorial debut was made with Disney/Pixar’s Cars 3 this year. Screenwriter Mike Rich joined up with Brian Fee to work on the film. Given his expertise in working on sports-related films, the pairing was a match made in heaven. Cars 3 was released on Digital HD on October 24, 2017, and will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray on November 7, 2017....
