Britain’s BT announced that it’s phasing out 3G in the next two years as it maintains its plans to bring 5G to the entire country by 2028, reports Reuters. According to BT Consumer CEO Marc Allera, traffic has more than quadrupled on its 5G network since October, when the iPhone 12 launched. BT also said that its 5G network would cover 50% of the UK population by early 2023, as it’s four years ahead of the government’s target....

Captain America may be famous as a defender of Earth and the United States, but Thor is giving him a major promotion. He’ll still be fighting, but doing it on the back of a flying horse, the standard transportation of Asgard’s legendary Valkyrie. Any mention of giving a new look or role to Steve Rogers may be hard for MCU fans at the moment, since they’ll all be talking about the beardless-Captain America in Avengers: Endgame....

New evidence suggests that there’ll be no real way to make Captain Marvel’s 1990s MCU timeline make sense. It’s been known that the debut outing for Carol Danvers will be set in the 1990s since SDCC 2017, and since then we’ve seen that yield all sorts of 90s nostalgia: from Samuel L. However, aside from evidently being set in the early half of the decade, Marvel hasn’t stated in what year exactly Captain Marvel takes place....

After spending years in development hell, 20th Century Fox finally released the solo Deadpool movie this year. Though the Merc With a Mouth is beloved among comic book fans, the project was still deemed a risk by some. The announcement of the Doctor Strange: Damnation comics miniseries has supposedly been met with negative reactions from certain parts of the country over the title - so Marvel has decided to make a (funny) variant cover that labels the series Doctor Strange: Tarnation. In November, Marvel announced Doctor Strange: Damnation, a five-part miniseries written by Donny Cates and Nick Spencer, the architect of the controversial Secret Empire event. The miniseries will send the Master of the Mystic Arts to Las Vegas for a battle with the demon lord, Mephisto....

The developers behind Dishonored are back with a new game. Arkane has become a go-to studio for exciting games, and at the Bethesda press conference for E3 2019 Arkane announced its next project. This title is a stylish-looking action game called Deathloop. Arkane Studios has released some of the most impressive video games that Bethesda has published. The Dishonored franchise’s blend of stealth and action has earned in plenty of fans, while 2017’s Prey also received a strong reception, even if sales weren’t perhaps as high as Bethesda and Arkane may have hoped....

Joe Manganiello is ready to suit up for Deathstroke and is teasing the mercenary’s costume. Taking on the role of Slade Wilson has been a long time coming for Manganiello. He was once rumored to play Deathstroke in Suicide Squad, only to instead land the role last year. The announcement arrives in the heat of Justice League’s production, with Manganiello original set to debut as the villain in Ben Affleck’s The Batman....
