Daredevil’s season 1 showrunner, Steven S. DeKnight, wants to see a six-part Kingpin miniseries. This piece of information follows hot on the heels on the announcement that Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise the role of criminal kingpin Wilson Fisk in Daredevil season 3, which will have Erik Oleson (The Man in the High Castle, Arrow) stepping into the showrunner position. DeKnight helmed Daredevil season 1 for Marvel and Netflix, setting the tone - with help from Drew Goddard - for this dark and gritty corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

Dave Bautista says he’s only going to do Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 without James Gunn due to his contractual obligation. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has launched many careers, but Bautista landing the role of Drax the Destroyer truly changed his life. His action and comedic chops have made him a rising name in Hollywood since, and some of the credit goes to Gunn for helping pick Bautista in the first place....

Zack Snyder has released a Justice League storyboard detailing a scene in which the origins of the Mother Box are revealed. It seems Snyder planned to have the Mother Box found by the Nazis in World War II, then passed on to American scientists. Controversial director Zack Snyder may have left the DC Extended Universe, but that doesn’t mean he’s stopped caring about it. Over on Vero, Snyder’s favorite social media channel, Snyder has been happily revealing countless insights into his films....

Following news that Destiny 2: Forsaken is not performing as well as Activision Blizzard had hoped, game director Luke Smith has come out in defense of the expansion. Back in November, Discord entered beta testing for its macOS app, a version called Discord Canary, on Apple Silicon. According to Reddit users, the digital messaging app has now exited its four-month long beta. This means the Discord Canary app can properly support Macs using the M1 chip or later. Discord is a communications platform where users can create groups to chat through text, audio, and video. Popular with gamers, users can communicate through private channels across most of their devices, even Xbox....

Doctor Sleep is recreating a number of iconic sequences from Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, although they’re not totally identical to the original. Although the film is based upon Stephen King’s book of the same name, which serves as a follow-up to his novel and ignores Kubrick’s film (which King famously wasn’t happy with), director Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House) is making this a sequel to both the book and movie versions of The Shining....

Justice League’s story and tone had already been established by director Zack Snyder before he had to step down from directorial duties, according to Ben Affleck. This reiterates that despite Joss Whedon coming in and manning supposedly extensive reshoots, the film remains Snyder’s vision and that numerous rumors of significant changes to tone were exaggerated. The cast of the first Justice League flick has already started their multi-city press tour to promote the upcoming blockbuster....

Marvel’s upcoming Black Widow movie poses a problem for the MCU’s timeline. Marvel Studios used their Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 to reveal details of their upcoming Phase 4 slate. Next up is Black Widow, now confirmed to release on May 1, 2020. The SDCC footage revealed a lot of big information about the movie. Black Widow’s villain is Taskmaster, Florence Pugh is playing Natasha’s successor Yelena Belova and David Harbour is Red Guardians....

The final trailer for Black Widow has arrived. After releasing a pair of billion dollar hits and the highest-grossing film of all time last year, Marvel Studios is coming back with Black Widow, the first movie in Phase 4 of the MCU. Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the film follows Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff on a solo adventure that forces her to fully reckon with her past, bringing her face to face with the family she left behind....
