According to a blog post, it’s very simple to use Music Mode. When speaking in a room, tap the three dots, and select “Audio Quality” from the menu. Users need to choose the “Music” option and that’s it. Whether you’re workshopping that new song, playing piano, or hosting a jam session with your friends, Music Mode optimizes Clubhouse to broadcast your music with high quality and great stereo sound....

Connie Britton has joined Bravo’s upcoming true-crime anthology series Dirty John as the female lead. This isn’t the first foray into an anthology for the veteran actress, who also starred in the first season of American Horror Story. She’s been on a roll on the small screen in recent years as a regular on Nashville and recurring appearances on SMILF and 9-1-1. Dirty John is an adaptation of the successful podcast of the same name, hosted by Los Angeles Times investigative journalist Christopher Goffard and created by the Fox-backed podcast network Wondery....

DC’s streaming service DC Universe unveils new logos for Titans, Harley Quinn, and Young Justice: Outsiders. Just over a year ago, Warner Bros. revealed plans to launch a DC exclusive streaming service. Originally announced as a platform that would see the return of Young Justice and the home to their new live-action Titans series, it will end up being much more than that. The possibilities of this digital service could range from the entire library of DC movies all in one place to even a catalogue of digital DC comics....

The spice may flow on Arrakis sooner than expected, now that Denis Villeneuve is (reportedly) eying a February 2019 production start date on his Dune movie. The Sicario and Arrival director has been taking a bit a bit of a break since he released Blade Runner 2049 last fall (his fifth movie in as many years). This in turn has given Forrest Gump and Munich writer Eric Roth additional time to get his Dune script into shooting shape before Villeneuve starts rolling camera on his latest sci-fi venture....

Legendary Pictures’ Detective Pikachu, a live-action film based on the wildly popular Pokemon video game series, is set to go before cameras in London starting in January 2018. Goosebumps director Rob Letterman has been tabbed to head up the project, working from a script by Nicole Perlman (Captain Marvel) and Alex Hirsch (Galaxy Falls). Detective Pikachu is based on a Japanese point-and-click game called Great Detective Pikachu in which a high-functioning Pikachu and his friend, a human boy named Tim Goodman, become a very unlikely mystery-solving team....

According to Andy Serkis, Ulysses Klaue won’t be armless in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther. Fans will remember that during Avengers: Age of Ultron, the villain made an appearance during the sequence in South Africa. He was in possession of vibranium that both the Avengers and Ultron were after, and he lost his left arm after he called Ultron “one of Stark’s.” Since Ultron isn’t exactly the most mentally stable of villains, he reacted by cutting Klaue’s arm off in one swoop....

Warning: Black Panther spoilers ahead. - Black Panther may be taking the box office by storm, but that hasn’t stopped many people asking, “Where has Bucky Barnes been all this time?” Thankfully, director Ryan Coogler is here to answer that very question. The 18th MCU movie should neatly lead us into the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War; though without the reveal of the final Infinity Stone, Black Panther carved its way as more of a standalone than just a Thanos prequel movie....

Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow brings Red Sparrow’s production designer onboard. Marvel Studios finally started to put their money where their mouth is earlier this year when they began to move forward with a solo movie for Johansson. Possible SPOILERS for Captain Marvel - UPDATE: Disney has since removed any mention of Captain Marvel in the toy’s description. The product description for a Marvel Legends action figure seems to reveal that Genis-Vell will appear in Captain Marvel. In the comic books, Genis-Vell is the son of Mar-Vell, the original Captain Marvel. Genis-Vell was a popular hero in his own right during the 1990s. Even though Captain Marvel will hit theaters in little more than a month, there continues to be a great deal of speculation over the characters included in the film....

Jude Law has revealed the reason for the conflict causing the Kree-Skrull war in Captain Marvel, while also confirming the presence of the Supreme Intelligence. Marvel Studios’ twenty-first movie will be their first female led film and stars Brie Larson in the lead role of Carol Danvers. For the purposes of the film, Marvel is telling her origin in the 1990s and sees Carol already operating as a hero - known as Vers - in the Kree military team called Starforce, which is run by Law’s mysterious character....

Ousted Justice League director Zack Snyder continues to reveal imagery from his cut, this time confirming the presence of DC villain Darkseid. The troubled production of the DCEU’s equivalent to The Avengers is infamous at this point, with many fans ending up vocally displeased with the theatrical cut ultimately delivered by replacement director Joss Whedon. Those same upset fans have of course made it their mission to demand Warner Bros. release Snyder’s original cut of the film, although it’s still unclear just how complete a version of it even exists, despite Snyder being well into post-production when he departed the project....

DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson is taking a leave of absence. In the wake of multiple slumps for the entertainment giant, Warner Brothers and DC entertainment executives seem to want to be in top physical and mental condition to make sure that their comic empire is in good hands and prepare for the inevitable task of rethinking and reshaping the DCEU. The studio is poised to make a number of positive changes on that front, preparing fans for excellence surrounding their favorite DC comics characters....

New EU legislation may force Apple to allow users to install apps from outside its App Store. Additionally, Apple would have to allow developers to use the App Store without using Apple’s payment systems. As covered in an article by The Verge, this is part of the Digital Markets Act. The DMA is close to being signed into law. While the DMA has yet to be voted into law by the European Parliament, it’s looking likely to happen....

The Disney Plus service is using Fox brands as part of its marketing. Disney’s Fox acquisition is expected to be completed on January 1, 2019, but this is the first solid indication of just how smoothly the deal is proceeding. In July this year, Disney and Fox shareholders voted to approve a $71.3 billion dollar deal that will see Disney purchase the bulk of Fox’s film and TV empire. Domestic regulators signed off on the deal, and slowly international regulators are coming into line....

Walt Disney Animation’s Zootopia - a critical darling (and member of the billion dollar club) now available on DVD and Blu-ray - won’t be the only original animated offering from the Mouse House in 2016. This fall, Disney Animation will unveil Moana, an original fantasy/adventure about Moana (Auli’i Cravalho), the young daughter of a Polynian chief and the descendant of a long line of legendary sea navigators. Joining Moana on her own oceanic adventure to find a fabled island (and help her family) is the demigod Maui, voiced by none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson....

Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con 2019 presentation featured an MCU Phase 4 schedule that confirmed the release dates for WandaVision and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Per new teases from that SDCC presentation, the Disney+ show and the movie sequel will be linked, and it all begins with the release dates for both of these projects. WandaVision, which sees Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as Scarlet Witch and Vision, was confirmed for a spring 2021 release on Disney+....

While a release date hasn’t been officially set and there’s no title or plot details as of yet, Kevin Feige has promised that there will be a sequel to Doctor Strange in the MCU. Following Strange’s pivotal role in Infinity War and Endgame – hatching the plan that would end up saving the world (after a lot of temporary death and heartache, of course) – Marvel fans are more excited than ever to see the Sorcerer Supreme continue his solo adventures on the big screen....

Marvel Studios is definitely going to make Doctor Strange 2, at some point. Thanks to the ever-expanding nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, those in charge of the universe have been blessed with an abundance of riches. They’ve relied heavily on the original Avengers for three phases, but also introduced new leads to take their place in Phase 4 and beyond. One of them should be Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, but Marvel is being cagey on the character’s future....
