Big Bang Theory entertained viewers for 12 seasons as they enjoyed watching a group of geeky scientists and physicists blurt out words we couldn’t understand and discuss comic books, Star Trek, and Star Wars in greater depth than most people ever care to do. The series was, for the most part, totally and utterly hilarious as we watched the guys try and meet girls, the girls put up with the guys’ antics, and the group go through everything from starting families to winning the Pulitzer Prize....

Logan co-writer and director James Mangold is heading to a galaxy far, far away, where he will write and direct a Boba Fett solo movie. An anthology film centered around the infamous Mandalorian armor-clad bounty hunter has been rumored for years and was in development under the direction of filmmaker Josh Trank at one point; Lucasfilm even prepared a Boba Fett sizzle reel to show off at Star Wars Celebration 2015, to announce that version of the project....

James Bond 25 director Cary Fukunaga reveals the movie’s script is still being developed. While Bond’s last adventure Spectre was another huge success, reviews for the movie were mixed. For many fans and critics, it failed to live up to 2012’s Skyfall, despite reteaming Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes. This past weekend’s $85 million dollar domestic opening of Doctor Strange has once again proven that audiences are still hungry for superhero stories to be told on the big screen. And in 2018, that is exactly what fans will be getting. The biggest of all the Marvel Comics’ heroes, Spider-Man, will be starring in his first solo film within the Marvel cinematic universe, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The CW launched their DC Comics shared universe with Arrow, followed by The Flash, and more recently the spinoff Legends of Tomorrow. Now, Supergirl, which originally launched on CBS, will be moving to The CW for its second season. Since Supergirl was co-created by Greg Berlanti, the producer behind CW’s DC TV universe, it seemed only a matter of time before the show would feature a crossover with Arrow, The Flash, and/or Legends; that crossover arrived late in Supergirl’s first season when Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) met Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist)....

Benedict Wong is no stranger to working on projects based on or inspired by comic books, but his turn as Master Lin in Deadly Class will be very different from his work in the likes of Doctor Strange and Avengers: Infinity War. The new animated musical comedy series Central Park from Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard has just landed at Apple with a two-season order. Based on a family of caretakers in New York City’s Central Park, the original series will be released alongside other shows exclusive to Apple’s new streaming service, including Carpool Karaoke: The Series with James Corden, Kevin Durant’s Swagger, and an untitled M. Night Shyamalan thriller series. Marking Apple’s first official animated comedy series, Central Park will be co-written by Bouchard, Emmy-winning Bob’s Burgers writer Norah Smith, and Josh Gad, who, aside from starring in films like Beauty and the Beast and Murder on the Orient Express, is co-writing the upcoming Twins sequel, Triplets, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito, and Eddie Murphy....

The lifting of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’s review embargo last week, followed a couple of days later by the film’s general release, has thrown the moviegoing world into turmoil. Zack Snyder’s two and a half hour long superhero epic currently holds a rating of just 29% on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, but has seen serious success at the box office with a staggering $424 million opening weekend (thanks in part to the movie’s day-and-date global release)....
