Disney CEO Bob Iger shares their plans for the roster of popular properties that the House of Mouse is poised to acquire once their deal to buy Fox is finalized. Rumors of a merger involving two of the largest Hollywood studios had been going on for quite a while before it was officially announced back in December. Despite the delay due to Comcast’s last-ditch effort to foil the merger and close the deal for themselves, the historic buyout is finally moving forward with legal proceedings expected to be finished sometime next year....

Star Wars fans will have to brace themselves for hyperspace as some tantalizing new preview footage of the brand new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disney Theme Park rides has now been revealed. These will be part of the massive 14-acre park expansions which have been designed from the ground up as peerless and immersive Star Wars experiences, presently under development at both at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida....

Oscar-nominee Naomie Harris stars in the trailer for the crime thriller, Black and Blue. Written by Peter A. Dowling (Flightplan), Black and Blue revolves around Alicia West (Harris), a rookie cop who accidentally films a group of police officers killing a drug dealer on her body cam. After barely escaping with her life, Alicia discovers she’s now being pursued by both corrupt cops and local criminals who’re desperate to destroy the incriminating footage before it’s made public....

Winston Duke wants to star in a reboot of Bad Boys alongside his Black Panther co-star Daniel Kaluuya. The early response to Black Panther has been nothing short of spectacular, and likely means only bigger things to come for many of those involved. One of the movie’s true breakout stars was Duke as M’Baku, the leader of the Jabari tribe. Thankfully, he’s already been shown to be in Avengers: Infinity War, meaning audiences won’t have to wait too long to see him again....

Black Panther is now in fourth place on Fandango’s all-time pre-sellers list. Black Panther is one of Marvel’s most highly-anticipated releases ever, as well as one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. Arriving in the mostly blockbuster-free month of February, the film - starring Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan and directed by Ryan Coogler - has earned almost universal praise and has done quite well at the international box office so far....

It’s been a long road for Blade Runner 2, the sequel to Ridley Scott’s seminal dystopian film. Based on Philip K. Dick’s book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the film followed ‘blade runner’ Richard Deckard as he chased rogue humanoid replicants and inspired a generation of sci-fi and cyberpunk fiction and movies. At least according to production company Alcon – who acquired the rights in 2011 – the upcoming film will be part of an ongoing evolution of the Blade Runner franchise....

Fans who have been eagerly awaiting an update on Blumhouse’s Spawn reboot are tentatively celebrating at news the project will begin shooting this spring. The movie, based on the cult favorite comic book of the same name, follows Al Simmons, a former CIA Black Ops agent who is betrayed by his bosses when they hire his friend and partner, Bruce Stinson, to murder him. Simmons makes a deal with the devil to return to Earth to once again see his wife, but ends up coming back transformed into a demonic creature, a Hellspawn....

There will be SPOILERS.] – Bob Belcher and his family - consisting of mom Linda, eldest daughter Tina, son Gene, and youngest daughter Louise - have gotten into plenty of hijinks over the years at their mom and pop burger joint. But, Bob’s Burgers largely excels at weaving the antics of the Belchers (which range from slightly ludicrous to outright unbelievable) with the heart of a family that loves each other, helping to ground the show in a compelling emotional reality even while their antics cross over into surreality....

The Call of Duty franchise has a unique development cycle wherein three different studios - Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer Games - work on a new entry independent of each other. By allowing each developer to work on their respective games for up to three years on a rotation also allows the franchise as a whole to continue on a yearly release schedule....

Cutting the Rocketman sex scene, as was rumored prior to the film’s release, would have actually made the Elton John musical biopic worse. Rocketman, starring Taron Egerton as John, follows the musician’s life from learning to play the piano as a child through his rise to fame and his struggles with addiction and depression. When legendary TV talk show hosts retire from hosting their show, it usually means their showbiz career is pretty much over as well. After Johnny Carson retired from The Tonight Show, he rarely appeared in public ever again prior to his death a decade later.
