After a long stretch of official quiet and rampant rumors, the announcements on the next solo Batman film suddenly seem to keep dropping: first we got word that classic DC Comics villain Deathstroke would be the Dark Knight’s main nemesis, followed by the revelations that the movie is currently scheduled to release in some 18 months and that actor Joe Manganiello had been cast as the baddie, and, finally, sealed by the solo outing’s official name – The Batman....

Reality competition series Big Brother is all about players, who are stuck in a house cut off from the world and vying for half a million dollars, being cunning, manipulative, and strategic. Though some players have won the game without ruffling many feathers, others, including both winners and losers, have stirred up lots of controversy along the way. Black Panther Outfits The film features not one, but three Black Panther costumes. The first was apparently built by T’Challa himself, and is made of vibranium. As fans saw in Captain America: Civil War, it’s effectively bulletproof; the kinetic energy of bullets is absorbed into it, rendering T’Challa immune from harm. In Shuri’s view, of course, this armor is nothing more than a relic. She’s created a vibranium costume that is constructed of nanotechnology....

Black Panther has won the Best Ensemble award at the Screen Actor Guild Awards. Marvel Studios made a commitment to changing the look of their movies with Black Panther, which is the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film to be led by a person of color. The studio put $200 million behind the blockbuster and surrounded star Chadwick Boseman with a great supporting cast. Director Ryan Coogler took full advantage of the cast assembled by completely fleshing out Wakanda’s various tribes and royal family....

There’s a lot going on at Blizzard: a new report has unveiled that the company is not only working on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, but that the developer has also felt the need to cancel a previously-unannounced StarCraft FPS title in order to ramp up focus on the former two games. Blizzard has recently been struggling with public perception, as the once mighty studio received a great deal of backlash over the way it laid off hundreds of employees despite record earnings....

Charlize Theron has confirmed that Atomic Blonde 2, a sequel to her neon-drenched 2017 spy thriller, is moving forward. Though Theron has made Oscar-bait movies in the past, 2017 was the year of action movies for the actress. Theron starred alongside action heavyweights Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel in the turbo-charged The Fate of the Furious, an international blockbuster that grossed $1.23 billion worldwide. She also headlined Atomic Blonde, a period spy thriller helmed by John Wick co-director David Leitch....

In Marvel Comics, the magician known as Baron Karl Amadeus Mordo is as straight-up supervillain. He’s a jealous man who immediately becomes an adversary of Doctor Strange. Even if you only saw the wonderful 2007 animated film Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme, that was all too evident and obvious. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mordo is being modernized and updated so he’s not an easy-to-read two-dimensional character, nor is he evil....

Collateral Beauty is an upcoming drama directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) and written by Allan Loeb (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps). New details for The Conjuring 3 reveal what could possibly be a story about a murder trial. The first two Conjuring films were based on real events from the case files of the paranormal investigators named Ed and Lorraine Warren. The couple investigated many hauntings over their years and wrote books on their findings, which have been the basis for the films in The Conjuring universe. The first movie was directed by James Wan and was about a family who moves into a farmhouse in Rhode Island, which is haunted by a witch that possesses mothers into killing their children....

A new study reveals that consumers globally spent $41.5 billion on the App Store in the first half of 2021, which is almost double that of the Google Play Store. According to data acquired by Finbold, consumers spent an estimated $41.5 billion on apps from the Apple App Store during the first six months of 2021, which is almost double compared to $23.4 billion spent by Android consumers.
