Bill Cosby has been found guilty of sexual assault by jury. The Pennsylvania jury overseeing his case ultimately returned a verdict for the aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand. Actor and comedian Cosby was accused of aggravated indecent assault against Constand in 2004. After 14 hours of deliberation, the jury determined that Cosby was guilty for rape on all three counts against Constand, who Cosby had met through a mutual friend in 2002....

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 developer Treyarch is just the latest company to suffer from what those in the gaming industry refer to as “video game crunch.” Video game crunch refers to the trend of developers forcing their employees to work nearly impossible hours. Some employees even work more than 12 hours a day, including weekends, leaving them with little to no downtime. Crunch usually results in employees who are not only burned out, but also physically and mentally affected by the long hours....

John Boyega has been hyping up the Finn and Captain Phasma fight from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which fans glimpsed in the film’s brand new trailer. Finn, of course, used to be a Stormtrooper under the command of Gwendoline Christie’s Phasma, before he had a crisis of conscience and left the First Order to join The Resistance. The Brazilian Ministry of Justice ordered in September the suspension of iPhone sales in the country after concluding that Apple harms consumers by not offering the power adapter included with the device. The cast of DC Universe’s Doom Patrol adds another superhero, with Brendan Fraser set to voice Cliff Steele a.k.a. Robotman. The show does not yet have a premiere date, but is expected to premiere on DC Entertainment’s new streaming service some time in 2019. Robotman, who debuted in DC Comics in the 1960s, is something of a precursor to Robocop, with a similar back story. The character’s real name is Cliff Steele, and he was “a daredevil in search of excitement and danger,” who took a bad turn on a race track and crashed his souped-up car....

The trailer has arrived for the James Gunn-produced horror movie BrightBurn. Gunn had originally intended to talk about the film at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and even released a poster that left some wondering if the project is really a Bloodborne video game adaptation. However, his appearance was later cancelled after Disney fired him from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in response to years-old offensive joke tweets being uncovered from his Twitter account, just a day earlier....

Travis Knight’s Bumblebee is the latest live-action Transformers movie, but the 80s-set prequel is the sixth such movie to release. His film will close out the first trilogy under Disney, and wrap up the events that last played out in Star Wars: The Last Jedi....

The Castlevania video game franchise is one of gaming’s most revered properties. Debuting in 1986 and spanning a variety of different consoles, Castlevania is one of the few gaming franchises that has managed to stay fresh while also sticking to the core values and themes that made the series so popular in the first place. Given its popularity, there has naturally been talk over a film adaptation in recent years but ultimately that never came to fruition....

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical makes the leap to the big screen in the trailer for Cats. The original stage show, of course, ushered in the era of “mega-musicals” and remains both one of the highest-grossing and longest-running Broadway titles ever since its debut in the early ’80s. Eilot’s 1939 poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, its story revolves around a tribe of felines (the Jellicles) as they decide one night which of them will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new, better life....

The CW confirms that its Charmed reboot will be getting a full first season order. The series has aired as the follow up to Supergirl, as part of “CW Sundays,” since it premiered on Oct. 14. Led by Jane The Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman, the series stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, and Madeleine Mantock as the supernatural sisters, Mel and Maggie Vera, and Macy Vaughn. The series has received negative attention from fans and the team behind the original show since it was announced....

The Oscar-winning thespian is renowned for his uncanny ability to completely inhabit the characters he plays, which oftentimes comes with a jaw-dropping physical transformation. Marvel’s Daredevil was still one of Netflix’s most popular TV series in the week before its cancellation, according to a new report. The show is the third Marvel series that Netflix has canned in recent months (following Iron Fist and Luke Cage) and its cancellation was seemingly motivated by Disney’s plans to launch its own streaming service, Disney+, sometime in Fall 2019. Daredevil, of course, was part of Marvel and Netflix’s original slate of TV series about street-level superheroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of New York, along with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders event miniseries....
