Camo, the popular app that allows you to use your iPhone as a Mac webcam, has released a new update that integrates the Snap API to add augmented reality to your video meetings. Snap’s AR capabilities, along with Camo’s functionality like zoom, pan, and other features, allow people to personalize how they appear and interact while in a meeting or chatting with long-distance friends. The new Snap AR webcam features in Camo are available free for all users of Camo, both paid and free versions....

Warner Bros. has only just begun to screen Justice League, but producer Charles Roven wants audiences to leave this movie eager to see Justice League 2. It has been a long time coming, but Justice League is finally almost here. WB’s biggest installment in their new DC movie universe has had a storied production filled with tragedy, hearsay, and a great deal of negativity. The response to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice put Justice League in the crossfire of countless rumors and even caused the studio to make a few changes to the planned team-up before production started, with additional changes also rumored....

While Netflix is currently bursting at the seams with acclaimed original content, one of its biggest successes to date remains Marvel’s Daredevil, the first series to result from the streaming giant’s partnership with Marvel and its parent company Disney. Introducing a harder, more adult-oriented edge to the Marvel Studios landscape, Daredevil managed its 13-episode first season wisely, using the expanded - compared to a Marvel film - length to allow viewers to really get inside the heads of characters like Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk to see what makes them tick....

Perhaps one of the most enduring truths about Hollywood and filmmaking in general is how hard it is to get a film made. Of course, any struggling filmmaker can tell you this much. But when employed, successful and otherwise well known filmmakers can’t even get their work made, the difficult realities of movie making become that much more apparent. Case in point: screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It’s been a few months since the last bill tried to break Apple and Google’s app store monopoly on their respective platforms. Now, a bipartisan bill seeks to bring more competition to the app store market and would require Apple to open the iPhone to third-party app stores and sideloading. As reported by CNBC, the Open App Markets Acts is led by senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)....

A new report from Bloomberg today offers additional details on what to expect from this year’s Apple Watch Series 7. While it had previously been reported that the Apple Watch Series 7 will come with exclusive new watch faces to take advantage of its larger display, today’s report gets more specific about what to expect. A recent tweet by Capcom might be teasing a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. In just a few days, Apple will unveil the next generation of iPhones with the iPhone 14 series. Last-minute rumors say the company will ditch the notch for the iPhone Pro models and go with a hole-punch + pill cutout that will look like a pill. A report acknowledges that this new design could bring back the classic battery indicator on the status bar. Newly-released concept art for Deadpool 2 shows an earlier design for Cable’s cybernetic arm, which featured glowing red lights underneath the metal. Though the design didn’t end up being used in the movie, it’s a cool look at an alternative take on Cable’s powerful metal appendage. Unlike most cyborgs, Cable’s arm isn’t the result of replacing a missing limb with a mechanical replacement or deliberately “upgrading” his body. The character actually has a techno-organic virus that is gradually turning his body into a machine....
