Netflix has revealed the first look photos and official voice cast for its prequel TV series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. The original Dark Crystal movie was co-directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz, and was something of a critical and commercial disappointment upon its release in 1982. However, the puppet-driven fantasy adventure has developed a pretty sizable cult following over the 36 years since then, and for a long time there was talk of the Jim Henson Company making a proper sequel film titled The Power of the Dark Crystal....

Here’s a PSA for anyone out there looking to save some money on their Netflix. Beginning today, Netflix Basic with ads plan is rolling out around the world, priced at $6.99 per month. However there’s a big gotcha for people in the Apple ecosystem: the ad-supported plan is not supported on the Netflix app on the Apple TV box. It’s unclear if this will remain the case in the long term, but at least as of today’s launch, a support document confirms that the Apple TV is not a supported device for Netflix Basic with ads....

Of all the alterations George Lucas made to the original Star Wars trilogy for the various special editions, few are as infamous as the redone Han Solo/Greedo confrontation.
