The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have blamed the rise in Nova Scotia motorcycle gangs on the influence of the FX series Sons Of Anarchy. In a recent presentation, the constable of the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia explained how the television show has promoted the appeal of the motorcycle gang lifestyle. Sons Of Anarchy was an American crime drama that followed the lives of an outlaw motorcycle club that aimed to protect the town of Charming, California while still operating a number of illegal businesses....

Apple recently proclaimed that iPhone production for holiday sales won’t come close to meeting demand. Citi analyst Jim Suva, however, doesn’t see this as a long-term problem for the company or investors. Apple issued a statement on November 6 that cited ongoing COVID-19 precautions as reason for lower than previously expected iPhone production: “COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily impacted the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China,” Apple said....

Acclaimed video game developer and publisher CD Projekt Red unveiled Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay more than six years after they first announced the title. The studio known for developing The Witcher video game series originally revealed Cyberpunk 2077 in May 2012, almost a year before The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced in early 2013. But, the thing is, The Witcher 3 ended up releasing first, in May 2015, while Cyberpunk 2077 hadn’t received a single bit of official news in almost five years....

There will be SPOILERS.] - Odd as it is to say about a story that began with The Omen in 1976, the premiere of A&E’s new adapted-from-a-classic-horror-film series Damien has one significant shortcoming: In its attempt to call forth the end of days by making the Antichrist TV’s newest hunky protagonist, the show starts its story much too early. Watching the premiere, you sort of get it: creator and showrunner Glen Mazzara (The Shield, The Walking Dead) is in the tricky position of developing the continuation of a 40-year-old film, while also pushing forward into territory only hinted at in the original film’s ending (the three sequels that followed be damned, obviously)....

Though Steven Soderbergh has been busy producing cable TV series like The Knick and The Girlfriend Experience, and last year executive produced the movie Magic Mike XXL, he hasn’t sat in a film director’s chair since his “retirement” in 2013. The Oscar winner (for 2000’s Traffic) may be getting back in the driver’s seat for Logan Lucky, an upcoming heist film starring Magic Mike lead Channing Tatum. Initial reports on the film were sketchy, and though sources reported that Soderbergh was “enthralled with the script,” the famed filmmaker wouldn’t confirm his involvement in the project....

Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain shared that the Dark Phoenix movie script was constantly being rewritten on set. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as the film has been under scrutiny for a little while now, especially after Disney’s acquisition of Fox assets earlier this year. Netflix releases a teaser for Dear White People season 3 that confirms it’ll premiere August 2. The video celebrates Juneteenth, a holiday associated with the abolition of slavery in Texas, and the subsequent emancipation of African-American slaves in the United States. In 2014, filmmaker Justin Simien released the independent feature Dear White People, a dramedy that takes place at an Ivy League college. The narrative is mostly told through the perspectives of an African-American cast, consisting of Tessa Thompson, Tyler James Williams, and Teyonah Parris....

The small yellow creatures first appeared in Despicable Me, and are now insanely popular across the globe. The public’s love of all things Minion spawned a second Despicable Me film, followed by their own movie, Minions, which is Illuminations most successful film to date, having grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office....

Black Panther writer, Joe Robert Cole said that “Black Panther is a historic opportunity to be a part of something important and special, particularly at a time when African Americans are affirming their identities while dealing with vilification and dehumanization. The image of a black hero on this scale is just really exciting.” Cole isn’t the only one that feels this way– millions of people around the world were excited and anxiously waiting for the movie’s release....

Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman is one of 2018’s most important films, with an ending that is at once shocking and all too inevitable. The film follows black Colorado Springs rookie detective Ron Stallworth (John David Washington), who in 1979 accidentally finds himself fronting an investigation into the Ku Klux Klan. He poses as a white racist on the phone to become part of the “organization”, having partner Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver) pose for him in real life....

Cavill plays CIA agent August Walker in Fallout: a ruthless killer who faces off against the Mission: Impossible franchise’s fearless special ops agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). Cavill also sports a mustache in that movie, a detail that - due to complicated filming schedules - led to Superman having a somewhat infamous CGI upper lip in Justice League....
