Walt Disney Studios is rumored to be eyeing Brie Larson to play the title role in their live-action Snow White spinoff movie, Rose Red. The original Snow White was famously made by Disney (then-known as Walt Disney Productions) way back in 1937, and it was the first animated film of its kind. Adapting the classic German fairy-tale from the Brothers Grimm, it proved all doubters wrong and became an iconic smash hit, both critically and financially....

At the very least, that’s what the last scene of Marvel’s Darth Vader Annual #2 seems to suggest. The issue implies that reason the Erso family fled the Death Star project is all down to the Emperor’s right-hand man. And while the Annual #2 has the Dark Lord of the Sith hunting down a group of saboteurs targeting Death Star production, the biggest saboteur might be Vader himself....

Video game director and head of FromSoftware Hidetaka Miyazaki recently provided an update about the possibility of Bloodborne 2, the potential sequel to the original Bloodborne video game. Bloodborne is an action role playing game that initially released in 2015. In the title, the player takes on the role of the Hunter who must make his way through the gothic city of Yharnam, a place where a horrible disease of the blood plagues the residents....
UPDATE: Here’s our casting wishlist for the Buffy reboot. In a shocking turn of events, a reboot of Joss Whedon’s beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series has been announced. Just last year, much of the original show’s cast put a hard no on ever returning for a Buffy reboot. Angel actor David Boreanaz has long claimed to be done with his character, placing Angelus firmly behind him. Glory actress Clare Kramer recently echoed that sentiment, stating simply that nobody wanted a Buffy reboot, especially without the original cast attached....
Replacing the Avengers will be no easy feat, however. Although Disney CEO Bob Iger has stated that more Avengers movies capitalizing on that renowned brand name aren’t out of the question, Marvel Studios has promised that Phase 4 will be different from what has come before. The Chattanooga Times Free Press has announced that it will spend $4.4 million on iPads to help subscribers transition to a digital-only version for its newspaper. The only printed edition of the paper that will continue after the project is finished will be the Sunday version. The paper will spend an additional $1.7 million on training and marketing to make sure its customers can continue to enjoy the newspaper. Starting Monday, the newspaper will begin converting daily print subscribers to a replica of the daily newspaper available on Apple’s iPad....
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, showrunner on upcoming Netflix series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina shared a first look image of Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) and Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch). Last year, Archie Comics found success in bringing its flagship series to television with the debut of Riverdale on The CW. In the show’s first season, it earned a dedicated fan base and largely positive reviews from critics. So, Archie Comics struck a deal with Warner Bros....
Update: Microsoft confirms Crackdown 3 releases in February 2019. It looks like Sumo Digital’s Crackdown 3 won’t be releasing in 2018 as planned. This isn’t the first time that the third Crackdown title has been delayed. It was originally set to release alongside the Xbox One X last year, but it was pushed to a 2018 release in August, just a few months before it was supposed to finally hit consoles....
The first look images for 20th Century Fox and director Jennifer Yuh Nelson’s The Darkest Minds movie adaptation are now online. Based on the books by Alexandra Bracken, The Darkest Minds is a dystopian sci-fi/thriller series in the same vein as previous young adult novels turned movie franchises like The Hunger Games, Divergent, and The Maze Runner, among others. Bracken published four Darkest Minds novels from 2012 through to 2015, at which point Fox picked up the film rights to the property and set Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) to produce a big adaptation of the first Darkest Minds book through his 21 Laps Entertainment banner....
Those involved with Avengers: Infinity War and Untitled Avengers have long touted the movies as being the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. In order to live up to that expectation and have the man power to stop Thanos after he has filled the Infinity Gauntlet with all six Infinity Stones, it will be all hands on deck in the MCU. Not only will the regular Avengers team reunite after a rather unfriendly encounter in Captain America: Civil War, but the films will also see other Marvel heroes join the ranks of the Avengers themselves and their film franchise....
