The MagSafe ecosystem has grown to consist of a variety of accessories, including the MagSafe Duo two-in-one charger with one MagSafe puck and an Apple Watch charging puck. When unveiled, the MagSafe Duo was mocked by many as a less-ambitious version of Apple’s failed AirPower all-in-one charger. Since it was released in December, however, the MagSafe Duo has turned into a go-to accessory for me....

Apple on Wednesday announced that iOS developers can now promote their apps on the App Store with custom product pages via the Apple Search Ads platform. With the new feature, developers will be able to create multiple versions of an ad to be displayed in App Store search results. iOS 15 introduced “Custom product pages,” which let developers create alternative versions of the App Store product page to showcase different features or content within your app....

Doctor Strange at one point seemed like Marvel Studios’ first film that could fail at the box office. Then again, people said the same thing about Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man. Not only were both big hits, with the former far exceeding expectations, but they’ve both been given sequels. Doctor Strange, meanwhile, just debuted at #1 in Japan, upping its global box office sales to $660 million and making it the 96th highest earner of all time....

While Apple and its carrier partners offer a number of ways to get a new iPhone every year with monthly payments, options for the Mac are far more limited. Best Buy, however, is looking to change that with the launch of its new Upgrade+ program. Writer Stephen McFeely reveals early drafts Avengers: Endgame didn’t include Steve Rogers aka. Captain America (Chris Evans) seeing Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) in the past. Peggy was part of Steve Rogers’ story from the very beginning, meeting the young wannabe soldier from Brooklyn before his transformation into Captain America. When Steve awoke in the modern age at the very end of Captain America: The First Avenger, Peggy was his last link to the only life he’d known - until Captain America: The Winter Soldier revealed his best friend Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) was still alive....

Following the release of its first two seasons and Christmas special, a prequel novel for Netflix’s adaptation of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is coming this summer. Though various backstory elements have already been featured in the comics series on which the show is based, the prequel novel will feature elements that fans of the show haven’t seen before with the teenage half-witch. Based on the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a darker retelling of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, in which the titular character is forced to balance her life as a mortal with her life as a witch....

Ryan Coogler revived the franchise through the perspective of Apollo Creed’s son, Adonis (Michael B. Jordan), in 2015. The original Creed film only had a few recognizable characters return though, as the focus was squarely put on the rising boxer and his relationship with Bianca (Tessa Thompson)....

A new rumor claims that it was Marvel that decided to pull the plug on Daredevil, and not Netflix as previously believed. Following the cancellation of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, fans were surprised to learn that the Charlie Cox-led show is also no longer pushing forward after running for three seasons. This came on the heels of a brilliant third outing, which has been hailed by critics and fans alike to be the best among everything that the partnership has offered thus far....

Thanks to one Dreams beta player, Dead Space fans can step into Isaac’s shoes and explore an abandoned spaceship one more time. Dreams is Media Molecule’s upcoming sandbox game set for release in 2019. The idea behind Dreams builds upon what the developer did with its Little Big Planet franchise in allowing players to create their own game environments and then share them with other players. The beta for Dreams began in 2018....

Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS ahead for Deadpool 2 - With a time-traveling Cyborg like Cable joining the ranks for Deadpool 2, we probably should have guessed the the movie’s ending would include multiple timelines. Deadpool 2 opens with our (sort of) hero Wade Wilson petulantly blowing himself up in an effort to outdo Logan’s big death scene from last year, declaring, “I’m dying in this one too!” Sure enough, the movie’s final act sees Deadpool nobly sacrificing himself to save young mutant Russell (in more ways than one)....

Activision won’t be hosting their own booth at E3 this year (neither will Electronic Arts, Disney Interactive, and Wargaming.net for that matter) and it’s not too surprising given the evolving nature of the annual trade show, the direct-to-consumer access publishers now have via live streams and social media, and the lack of games Activision has to show. After the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare reveal resulted in a literal “dislike campaign” against it and the negativity surrounding the slow development, lack of story, and heavy shift towards microtransactions in Destiny, we can see why Activision may not want to spend big for an E3 presence....

Devil May Cry director Hideki Kamiya would love the chance to remake the game with modern technology. The first Devil May Cry actually began life as an early version of Resident Evil 4. The story would have focused on twin brothers with superhuman abilities, who were the sons of Umbrella founder Oswell Spencer. The game’s focus on stylish action was seen as too radical a departure from the tone of past Resident Evil games, so Capcom decided to rewrite the story and make a separate franchise out of it....

[SPOILERS ahead for Doctor Strange.] - The latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange, opened in U.S. theaters to the tune of $85 million at the box office. This gives Marvel Studios its 14th straight movie to open number one at the box office. And yes, they have released exactly 14 movies. One likely reason for the Sorcerer Supreme’s success in his first MCU appearance is the positive reviews the film is receiving....

In just a couple of months, Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue with the theatrical premiere of Doctor Strange. Starring the fan-favorite Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme, the film will explore the magical and mystical elements of the franchise, introducing viewers to all new dimensions and realities. Director Scott Derrickson sold Marvel on his “psychedelic” pitch, and the footage showcased in the trailers have hinted at a mind-bending adventure in the vein of Christopher Nolan’s Inception....

The best looks yet at Spider-Man: Far From Home’s new suits come from the floor of Brazil’s Comic Con Experience (CCXP). Tom Holland will soon make his return as the MCU’s Spider-Man, even though his character still isn’t feeling good after Avengers: Infinity War. He is sure to return to life by the end of Avengers 4, as his sequel will come out just a few months later and pick up minutes after....

After almost a month in hiatus, The Big Bang Theory will return with a brand new episode this week which will mark the beginning of the end for the long-running sitcom. Following the surprising decision by CBS to end the popular show after 12 seasons, fans have been religiously tuning in week-after-week to watch their favorite gang on its final 24 episodes. Now, there are just 14 half-hours left. The last viewers saw the nerdy group, the multi-episode arc revolving around Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy’s (Mayim Bialik) troubled academic paper on Super Asymmetry was on the brink of getting resolved after the former gets an unexpected pep talk from his dead father, George Cooper Sr....

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther won’t be the first black superhero comic book adaptation that has ever been made (what with Blade, Spawn, and even Steel for that matter having been produced back in the 1990s), but it shall be the first one released in the modern age of the superhero movie genre - not to mention, the first one headlined by an African superhero, at that. Chadwick Boseman of 42 and Get on Up fame will first portray T’Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War this May, before getting his own solo movie in 2018, as directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station, Creed) and scripted by Joe Robert Cole, a graduate of Marvel Studios’ own in-house writing program....
