The latest trailer for The CW’s fall lineup of DC TV shows offers new footage from across the Arrowverse. In just a little over a month, The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow will all return to television for new seasons. After the events of last spring, each show will be working against some difficult circumstances. While the series’ heroes will eventually come together for their annual crossover, they will have to figure things out on their own for awhile, first.

Arrow will be dealing with the tragic events on Lian Yu, with Oliver struggling to find his place as a father as new threats target Star City. Barry will be stuck in the Speed Force in The Flash, while Kara will be struggling with the multiple aspects of her identity in Supergirl. Legends of Tomorrow, however, will face the biggest threat: fixing all of time after they screwed it up last season. Now, we have a fresh teaser for the Arrowverse at large, this new season.

The CW has released a new trailer for the return of their DC TV show lineup this fall. Said preview offers plenty of new footage and expands upon events teased in previous trailers for the next season of the Arrowverse in general. Perhaps most exciting of all, especially for Supergirl fans, it looks as if Cat Grant will be the new White House Press Secretary in the season ahead.

Along with Cat’s new career, there are shots of the Legends hanging out with Julius Caesar and Nick drunkenly boasting about Amaya’s Vixen powers. The Arrow portions, meanwhile, show the return of Deathstroke and offer more looks at Dinah in her new Black Canary costume. This confirms that the character made it off Lian Yu and is back to fighting crime.

On the Supergirl side, there’s more of Maggie and Alex’s couple cop adventures - and while things look dangerous, we know Maggie will make it out alive this season. Finally, we get the hilarious return of Barry from the Speed Force as he rattles off the items on his massive breakfast menu.

This isn’t the first Arrowverse trailer we’ve had recently, either, as last week a promo for The CW’s superhero shows teased a crossover meeting between Wally West and Citizen Steel. Along with the big team-up, we know a few smaller ones are bound to occur. One early example will see Felicity head to Central City to help out the S.T.A.R. Labs crew. Likely, the new seasons of the Arrowverse shows will provide plenty of other connections when they return.
