By this point, if you’re one of the many who are so very eagerly anticipating Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming Suicide Squad movie, you’re more than ready for everything it has to offer. The trailers have provided glimpses of the sort of carnage that every good action film should have – and what’s more, the action is courtesy of a band of outsiders who really have no business whatsoever living life outside of a prison cell.

With that thought in mind and given the merchandising campaigns we’ve already seen unleashed of late for Captain America: Civil War and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, it makes sense that DC’s Suicide Squad should also get in on the fun – especially considering how all around popular the squad is. With that being said, you can now check out the new Suicide Squad statues, set to arrive this summer from DC Collectibles.

The statues each stand 12 inches tall and are limited to only six of the Suicide Squad characters. On offer will be: Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and of course, The Joker (Jared Leto). Each statue will cost $150 (USD) and will be available for purchase as of July – with the exception of Boomerang and Katana, who won’t arrive until August.

For many fans, the popularity of each statue will likely end up depending on who delivers the best performance of the film, though there certainly won’t be any shortage of collectors who snap them all up from the moment they’re available. Judging by these initial images, the statues appear to be quite well done, particularly in their likeness to the real life actors and the lifelike quality of the flesh, as seen primarily on Harley Quinn and The Joker.

From what’s been seen thus far this week of the merchandising for other upcoming films, these Suicide Squad statues definitely win the best quality prize. That being said, they’re statues and not figurines and as such are made specifically for collectors. At any rate, they don’t come cheap, but they are a great way to keep a little touch of the Suicide Squad insanity alive and well long after you’ve left the cinema.
