Warner Bros. has released yet another TV spot for Justice League that reveals bits of new dialogue and new footage. Anticipation continues to rise for Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero team-up movie, Justice League, a follow-up to the last year’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which officially launched Warner Bros.’ DC cinematic universe. The film will unite the world’s finest heroes - Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) - for the first time on the big screen.
The newly-formed superhero team will be going up against the supervillain Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds) and his army of Parademons, who have come back to Earth - following the New Gods’ first war with Earth thousands of years prior, which will be told in the movie’s prologue sequence - to reclaim their three lost Mother Boxes. So far, we’ve seen fleeting glimpses of the villain throughout the film’s trailers, as well as only possible hints at where the final battle takes place. Well, thanks to new footage, we may now know where that ultimate showdown between Steppenwolf and the League occurs.

Now that Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for Justice League, they have shifted their marketing campaign for film into high gear, and that includes debuting several new promos and TV spots. A new, 30-second promo has surfaced online that includes various bits of footage from past trailers, while also featuring titillating shots of Steppenwolf, as well as possible confirmation that Cyborg will exercise one of his most unique (and useful) powers: opening up a Boom Tube. You can watch the promo in the section above.
The first bit of new footage occurs right at the beginning of the promo, showing Steppenwolf awaiting the landing of Apokolips’ ships, presumably during the ancient prologue sequence. That scene was first teased in the film’s final trailer that released at New York Comic-Con this past weekend. What’s interesting, though, is the shot of Steppenwolf seemingly opening up a Boom Tube later in the promo - perhaps to go back to Apokolips after losing his first war on Earth. The other scene that may be new to most viewers is the one of the League standing on a barren, apocalyptic surface, though that shot was first shown in AT&T’s exclusive video that released this morning.
However, what’s most intriguing (and revealing) is the scene in which Cyborg says, “Let’s do it,” while apparently opening up a Boom Tube, a means of teleportation by harnessing the power of a Mother Box. And since Cyborg was created by using a Mother Box, he’s the only non-New God with the ability to perform such an act. Perhaps that scene takes place immediately after the one shown in the final trailer, in which Cyborg is screaming while interacting with one of the Mother Boxes. Of course, all of this is mere speculation, and we’ll have to wait until Justice League hits theaters next month to see what happens.
