Comic-Con International has revealed the full Preview Night and Thursday schedule for San Diego Comic-Con 2019. The biggest annual geek convention is just around the corner and will once again give studios, networks, artists and publishers a chance to promote their biggest comic books, movies, and TV shows to the masses, along with their upcoming releases. Movie studios like Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros. are all passing on Hall H panels this year, but there will be plenty of noteworthy film and television presentations to fill their spot.

Among other things, Agents of SHIELD will host its first-ever Hall H panel at SDCC 2019, and Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo are holding a Hall H panel that may include special appearances by the films’ cast. DC Universe is also bringing its full slate to SDCC, with Disney planning special events for several of its recently-acquired live-action Fox TV shows and animated properties. And of course, Hall H will feature presentations for brand-new projects like Netflix’s The Witcher TV show and Kevin Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

Things will kick-off on Preview Night (Wednesday, July 17) with Warner Bros. Television screening The CW’s Batwoman premiere and EPIX’s Pennyworth pilot in Ballroom 20, beginning at 6:00 p.m. (all times being PST, of course). WB and New Line Cinema’s ScareDiego will also take place that night at the Horton Grand Theatre and has typically begun at 9:30 p.m. in years past. IT Chapter Two will serve as the event’s centerpiece this year, though New Line is expected to preview some of their other upcoming horror films too (like The Conjuring 3), and possibly make a surprise announcement.

Hall H will host most of the big SDCC events on Thursday, July 18, beginning with the Terminator: Dark Fate panel (featuring appearances by the film’s cast and director Tim Miller) at 11:00 a.m. Later that afternoon, at 3:30 p.m., Agents of SHIELD will host its first-ever Hall H panel and will reportedly highlight the remainder of season 6, while also providing a sneak peek at what’s to come in season 7. HBO’s His Dark Materials will take place in Hall H afterwards at 4:45 p.m. and is slated to include a panel with new footage, in addition to a Q&A with the attending guests.

Preview Night and Thursday are traditionally a bit slower than Friday and especially Saturday at SDCC, and that will once again be the case in 2019. There will be plenty to check out on those days nevertheless, including the first-looks at some of this fall’s most widely-discussed brand new TV shows. At the same time, Paramount is hoping to get in early and generate some buzz for its new Terminator film at the convention before its competitors - like Marvel Studios, which is reportedly planning a Hall H panel - bring out the big guns over the days that follow.

San Diego Comic-Con 2019 takes places from Thursday, July 18 to Sunday, July 21.
