The official San Diego Comic-Con 2018 schedule for Saturday, July 21 has been released. With two days already announced, the hype and excitement only heightens with this latest release. Many fan favorites are returning and special events are planed, there is certainly something for everyone. But, of course, as previously announced, Marvel Studios will be sitting out Hall H this year, since their next release is Captain Marvel, which arrives in March 2019.

By Saturday, many fan-favorites will have made their debut, with fans scrambling to get in as many events and experiences as they can. SDCC is one of the biggest events, providing all areas within the entertainment industry a chance to connect with fans and provide exclusive footage and content they would never be able to experience otherwise. The event draws more and more attendees every year; while participants grow, so does the content.

Hall H promises to deliver quite a punch on Saturday. The big Warner Bros. panel will kick off the Saturday of Comic-Con, starting  at 10:30am. The studio has already confirmed they will debut the first Aquaman trailer, and DC fans hope Warner Bros. may unveil footage from Shazam! as well as more looks at Wonder Woman 1984. Beginning at 5:15pm, the Deadpool 2 panel is sure to be another big event of the day. With Deadpool and his “pals” expected to make an appearance, this will be an event no fan will want to miss. While not held in Hall H, fans can follow up their experience with a screening of Deadpool 2: Uncut at 10pm at the Horton Grand Theater.

Closing out Hall H Saturday night at 6:45pm, Kevin Smith returns to Comic-Con, after surviving a near fatal heart attack in February, with A Night with Kevin Smith to discuss directing Supergirl and Flash, as well as dishing on his up coming sequel, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot.

Also returning to SDCC, Matt Groening will be presenting the new and old, beginning with The Simpsons panel at 12pm in Ballroom 20 as he looks to the 30th season premiere, following with Netflix: Matt Groening’s Disenchantment at 5:30pm in Room 6A with a sneak peak of the anticipated show’s premiere. Seth McFarlane returns to Comic-Con in Ballroom 20 with his animated shows American Dad at 1pm and Family Guy at 1:45pm, as well as an exclusive look and panel discussion for the upcoming season 2 of The Orville at 4pm in the Indigo Ballroom. The CW also looks to be taking over Ballroom 20 with panels, videos and exclusive footage for upcoming seasons of their DC series, Black Lightning at 11am, Supergirl at 3:30pm, Arrow at 4:15pm, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at 5pm and The Flash at 5:45pm.

While these are only some of the highly anticipated events and experiences of the day, there is still plenty to be enjoyed on Saturday. Laura Croft’s Defining Moment: Shadow of the Tomb Raider is sure to appeal to the gamer crowd, while The Gifted, Krypton, Lost and Stan Against Evil all have their moments with fans. Even Harry Potter will be back to celebrate 20 years. For the complete SDCC Saturday, July 21 schedule, be sure to check out the official site.
