Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland interview each other for their upcoming films - Men in Black: International and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Following their most recent project together in Avengers: Endgame, the actors are now busy promoting their new movies releasing in the next few weeks.

After reprising Thor for the seventh time in the MCU, Hemsworth is set to play Agent H opposite Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thomspon’s Agent M in the Men In Black spinoff. The movie will introduce a new crop of agents tackling a murder mystery that sends them on a multi-country journey. The main focus of Men in Black: International will be on the U.K. branch of the organization headed by Liam Neeson’s High T. Meanwhile, Holland is sticking with the MCU, playing Peter Parker in the second standalone adventure for the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Far From Home is set after the events of Endgame and will explore its aftermath, including the death of Tony Stark/Iron Man. Familiar faces such as Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) also star in the sequel, while new villain Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) debuts. Since both Men in Black: International and Far From Home are from Sony Pictures (albeit the latter is in partnership with Marvel Studios), the films can do cross-promotions, including this hilarious one with Hemsworth and Holland.

Shared on Hemsworth’s official Twitter account is a clip of the actor sitting down with Holland in a typical press interview setting. The pair talks about their upcoming projects, but not without taking jabs at each other. Hemsworth calls Holland Tom Hiddleston, and even asks why Thor isn’t in Far From Home. Holland, on the other hand, picks every Hemsworth brother as his favorite from the bunch other than the one he’s with. He also didn’t miss the opportunity to mention Thor’s drastic physical change in Endgame. Watch the hilarious clip below:

Prior to Holland landing his MCU role as Spider-Man, he already had a previous working relationship with Hemsworth. The two worked together in Ron Howard’s 2015 adventure/drama, In the Heart of the Sea. By that time, Hemsworth was already a pillar of the superhero franchise, having appeared in two Thor standalone adventures and the 2012 smash hit The Avengers. They such had great rapport working with each other that Holland asked Hemsworth if he could vouch for him as the next wall-crawling hero during his auditions. Initially refusing to do the favor, and even jokingly claiming that he’d sabotage the younger actor’s audition, Hemsworth actually put in some good words for Holland. While he aced his screentests, it still somehow helped to know that someone had Holland’s back who was already inside the franchise.

Considering where Endgame left Thor and Spider-Man, there’s a good chance they’ll eventually encounter each other in the MCU. Despite co-starring in the last two Avengers films, they have yet to share a scene with just the two of them. Although it’s safe to assume that they’ve mingled offscreen, and during the massive 10th anniversary photo shoot for Marvel Studios. As for their upcoming films, doing this fun bit is a fresh and effective way for Sony to market both Men in Black: International and Spider-Man: Far From Home, especially since both actors just appeared in one of the biggest films ever. Fun nods to their respective MCU characters is a treat for fans of the franchise, but it’s also a great way to entice people who may not be sold on the upcoming movies to catch them in theaters since they star these actors. This was probably just a quick shoot with the two of them ribbing each other throughout. and yet it can still be an effective promotional clip for the two projects.
