A new photo featuring the reunion of Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and his pal Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) has recently made its way to the internet. The pic comes from the set of Deadpool 2 which is currently being shot and is scheduled to be released June of next year. The sequel to one of the biggest surprise hits of 2016 has been in production since June in Canada. Over the last couple weeks, various behind-the-scenes photos have emerged online including Deadpool’s trip to the X-Mansion, some action scenes being shot and even Josh Brolin in preparation for taking the role of Nathan Summers/Cable which only intensifies the anticipation that fans have for the property....

The reboot of Charlie’s Angels has officially confirmed its main cast with director Elizabeth Banks playing a key role. A reboot of the 1970s series has been in talks for a few years now, but plans for a 2019 film are officially moving forward. Creed II looks set to feature an appearance by Brigette Nielsen, reprising her role as Ludmilla Drago from Rocky IV. It seemed the Rocky series came to end with 2006’s Rocky Balboa, which featured the aging, titular character coming out of retirement for one last bout. That changed when plans were announced for a spin-off titled Creed, which would feature Rocky acting as a mentor to the son of his late rival/friend Apollo Creed....

Terminator: Dark Fate is the latest installment in the beloved sci-fi franchise which hopes to refresh things after the last few disappointing entries. Marvel star Dave Bautista has thrown some serious shade at the Fast & Furious franchise. Bautista is best known for playing Drax the Destroyer, who first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. Since then the wrestler turned actor has appeared as Drax in three other Marvel outings, most recently Avengers: Endgame. Besides Vin Diesel appearing in the Fast & Furious movies and also voicing Groot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the two franchises share no connection....

Though you wouldn’t know it from her appearances in Deadpool and its sequel Deadpool 2, Vanessa Carlysle is supposed to be a lot more than just Wade Wilson’s love interest. In the original comics, Vanessa is actually a character named Copycat, a shape-shifting mutant who becomes a member of the X-Force....

Independence Day and Stargate writer/producer Dean Devlin is no longer involved with either sci-fi franchise. Devlin collaborated with Roland Emmerich on a trio of sci-fi films in the 1990s (Universal Soldier, Stargate, and Independence Day), putting both of their names on the map in the process. All three have since given rise to franchises that include multiple film and TV movie sequels for Universal Soldier, multiple TV series spinoffs for Stargate, and a big-budget movie sequel (released twenty years after the fact) for Independence Day....

It’s been announced that producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will serve as showrunner and executive producer of Netflix’s upcoming fantasy saga The Witcher. Hissrich is best known for her work co-executive producing and writing for mutiple TV series such as Netflix’s The Defenders, Daredevil and Power. It was announced last May that Netflix would be developing a TV series based on Polish writer writer’s Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher saga. Since it’s creation in 1994, the series of books has been adapted into comic books by Maciej Parowski, Bogusław Polch and Sapkowski and a Polish movie and television series (both titled The Hexer) in 2001 and 2002, respectively, starring Michał Żebrowski as Geralt of Rivia in both....

Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that the X-Men, Deadpool, and the Fantastic Four will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe aka. the MCU. As previously reported, Disney’s much-anticipated acquisition of 21st Century Fox has finally been confirmed, with the Mouse House shelling out billions for a sizeable chunk of Rupert Murdoch’s television and film assets. This essentially means that any properties that previously belonged to Fox are now in the hands of Disney - and crucially for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this includes both the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises....
