Apple today unveiled the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. In addition to all the new features, the new MacBooks have a notch at the top of the screen that houses the 1080p front-facing camera. Now developers can choose whether they want to take advantage of the notch area on these new Macs, or whether the app should run with a black bar on top. Command & Conquer: Remastered will feature upscaled versions of the FMV cutscenes from the original game, thanks to some devoted detective work by lead producer Jim Vessella. The upcoming Command & Conquer: Remastered, a recreation of the first game in the iconic strategy series, has been in development since 2018. The Command & Conquer remaster is being developed by Petroglyph Games in partnership with EA. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 introduced a major patch yesterday, but one of the new features has fans outraged, as developer Treyarch has been accused of introducing pay-to-win elements to the game’s Blackout battle royale game mode. Convicting a Murderer, a followup to the Netflix true-crime series Making a Murderer, has begun production in Wisconsin. After 10 years of painstaking filming, Making a Murderer debuted on Netflix in 2015 and almost immediately stirred a public debate over the possible wrongful murder conviction of Steven Avery and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, for the grisly 2005 murder and mutilation of photographer Teresa Halbach. While it seemed like an open and shut case on the surface, the series raised significant questions about the integrity of the case and possible motives by local authorities to target Avery....
Marvel cosplayers will have a chance to meet with the directors of Avengers: Endgame at a special event at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. Endgame initially released in April and quickly became one of the biggest movies of all time. After a re-release, the film is only $7 million away from breaking a box office record set by Avatar in 2009. While it’s pretty easy to name a good fright flick, far fewer are the films that succeed so well in terrifying audiences that they ascend to the level of horror classic. The Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been going strong since the debut of Daredevil in April 2015 and the equally acclaimed Jessica Jones series that followed last November.
