So far, Doctor Strange has been receiving positive reviews and doing well at the international box office, which in turn has resulted in a healthy forecast for its opening weekend domestically, too....

Following his controversial ouster from the Big Brother house, Ovi Kabir opened up about allegations of bullying and racism hounding certain houseguests on show. He felt that he and other castmates were subject to unfair treatment because of their race. Kemi Fakunle, David Alexander, and Ovi Kabir, who are all people of color, were eliminated from the show in a single episode. The outcome led to a firestorm of accusations against show producers, such as Big Brother 17 participant Audrey Middleton, who condemned the producers for purposefully giving the minorities in the cast a bad edit and showing the more controversial characters in a positive light....

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that the studio is considering a Black Panther addition at Walt Disney theme parks. Released on February 16, Black Panther has already made significant waves in Hollywood, breaking records by not only becoming the highest-rated superhero movie on Rotten Tomatoes, but breaking box office records nearly every day since its release. So, considering the fact that Disney is already ushering in several franchise-focused theme parks like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land, a Black Panther park doesn’t seem too far-fetched....

The Cold War is heating up as the iconic Nuketown finally makes its way into Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Treyarch and Activision are switching things up with the long-running shooter franchise and have ditched a single-player campaign in favor of multiplayer. Although plenty has changed, Nuketown is back with a vengeance. First introduced in 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, Nuketown has become synonymous with the series and sure to be a fan-favorite addition to the latest game....

Candyman director Bernard Rose recently revealed his original sequel plan for the film, which included Jack the Ripper, and didn’t include Candyman. This summer, producer Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us) and director Nia DaCosta (Little Woods) are set to unleash a new vision of Candyman on audiences worldwide. It’s still not entirely clear what role Tony Todd might play, but it’s apparent the new movie won’t retcon the original story, as the trailer includes characters from the 1992 Candyman film....

When it premieres later this year, Captain America: Civil War will officially launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s third phase, while also acting as a conclusion of sorts to the trilogy focused on Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). Capitalizing on the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Civil War will see Steve disagreeing with former ally Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) about the Sokovia Accords. For previous Captain America films, writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and directors Anthony and Joe Russo pulled inspiration from specific film genres; Captain America: The First Avenger was a war movie, while Captain America: The Winter Soldier was inspired by espionage thrillers of the 1970s....

Clubhouse launched in 2020 as a social network dedicated to live audio chat, an idea that was later followed by competitors such as Twitter and Reddit. Now Clubhouse has announced a major change to its app, which will now let users interact in voice rooms with text chat. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled features more than 30 tracks, nearly all of which feature complex shortcuts. A full HD remake of the 1999 kart racer by Naughty Dog, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled includes all eighteen tracks from the original game, as well as 13 tracks from the lesser-known PlayStation 2 sequel, Crash Nitro Kart. The Grand Prix DLC season adds a new track, Twilight Tour, bringing the grand total to 32 racetracks, not including the PS4-exclusive Retro Stadium, which is a reskin of the Turbo Track course from the original Crash Team Racing....

Skin, the biographical story of Bryon Widner (Jamie Bell) and his departure from the toxic white supremacist movement that controlled his life, will see a limited release this week. The film is being distributed by A24, which has been responsible for independent hits such as the award-winning Moonlight and more recently Midsommar. Skin follows in its predecessors footsteps by being a deeply personal story of self-discovery, only this time it’s about a real person contending with the racism that permeates the United States even today....

Daredevil season 3 actor Wilson Bethel recalls how he was almost cast as MCU’s Captain America before it was announced that Chris Evans got the part. Debuting as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter aka. Bullseye in the upcoming outing of the Marvel/Netflix series, Bethel, apparently, almost joined the MCU way earlier as he was one of the last actors in contention to play Steve Rogers in the interconnected film series. One of the founding heroes of the MCU, Captain America has played a pivotal part in the overall narrative of the franchise, having appeared in six films (excluding post-credit scenes) with another one - possibly his last - on the way in Avengers 4....

X-Men: Dark Phoenix breaks literally every single X-Men character. Fox had originally intended X-Men: Dark Phoenix to mark a turning point in the franchise’s history, a passing of the torch from the First Class stars of McAvoy, Lawrence, and Fassbender to the next generation. Oscar-nominee Charlotte Rampling has joined the cast of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune adaptation as the Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam. First published in 1965, Frank Herbert’s visionary novel Dune is now regarded as a classic of the sci-fi genre. Director David Lynch first brought the book to the screen in 1984, but his version of Herbert’s story was a critical and box office flop. Another attempt at translating Dune from page to screen came in 2000 when Sci Fi Channel aired a three-part miniseries, which was followed by a three-part adaptation of Herbert’s sequel Children of Dune....

Some Marvel fans have been feeling shocked and confused in the wake of Invincible Iron Man #593 coming out, though it has more to do with Spider-Man than Tony Stark. It actually has to do with Peter Parker thanks to an image in the comic that looks awfully familiar.
