Kevin Feige has revealed that Chadwick Boseman was Marvel’s “only choice” for the role of T’Challa in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther (and the MCU as a whole). In October 2014, Marvel officially announced that Black Panther would be part of the MCU’s Phase 3 slate. Then, it wasn’t much later that they revealed Chadwick Boseman (Get On Up) would be playing the titular character that comic book fans had waited years to see on the big screen....

The Captive State trailer reveals more plot details for Rupert Wyatt’s sci-fi thriller. Wyatt made a splash stateside with 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, a film that successfully revived the Planet of the Apes franchise. Since then, however, he’s arguably made more headlines for projects he’s stepped away from, rather than actually directed. Case in point: Wyatt was attached to helm Gambit a few years back, but eventually left Fox’s (still indefinitely delayed) X-Men spinoff....

Star Trek: Discovery took to Twitter today to show off a close look at some of their updated tech, including a communicator badge, phaser and communicator. The upcoming series will bring Star Trek back to the small screen this fall, and is going to blend together a whole new cast with some elements of the Original Series. Set 10 years before the adventures of Captain Kirk and Spock, the prequel show has already released a trailer, and is sure to reveal more hints at what’s to come at SDCC this weekend....

Chivalry 2 is announced at the E3 2019 PC Gaming Show. The knight-based combat title follows on from the acclaimed first entry Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, but this time it’s coming back with horses in tow. What’s more, it will be coming in 2020 - albeit with exclusivity to the Epic Games Store. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has its origins in a mod of Half-Life 2, which swapped out the gunplay of the core game for close combat in a medieval setting....
