Despite not being a well known character to the mainstream movie going audience, Doctor Strange continued the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and attracted largely positive reviews while also performing well at the box office. The movie featured standout performances from Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor in the central roles and opened up the franchise to a world of magic and mysticism. By far the most celebrated elements of Doctor Strange however, were the amazingly trippy visuals, from the climactic multiverse scene to the Inception-esque city bending....

Belkin has launched an intriguing AirPods Cleaning Kit this week. A reboot of iconic 1990s drama Beverly Hills, 90210 is in the works, with a majority of the series’ original cast onboard to reprise their roles. The network is so entrenched in current American life, it can sometimes be hard to remember that FOX has only been around since the mid-1980s. When FOX launched, it was viewed as an upstart not worth worrying about by many, and unlikely to offer a challenge to long-established channels like CBS, NBC, and ABC....

There are five enhanced versions of classic Dungeons & Dragons video games that are coming to consoles in 2019, as Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, and Planescape Torment will soon be arriving on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Dungeons & Dragons license was a popular choice for PC RPGs throughout the late ’90s and early ’00s, but they started to die out over time, as developers would try and create their own fantasy series without needing to pay to use the Dungeons & Dragons name....

Although there had been rumors that Justice League actor Ray Fisher was leaving the role of Cyborg, he recently announced that he has no intentions of leaving the role anytime soon. Fisher played Victor Stone in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and more recently in Justice League. Stone is a half-human/half-machine that fights alongside Batman and the other members of the League. Fisher was cast as Cyborg back in 2014 for Batman v Superman, although he had a very small role in the film....

Bethesda Games Studios admits that it would rather keep the development of the Fallout series in-house than farm it out to other companies. Despite the success of Obsidian’s fan-favorite Fallout: New Vegas, it doesn’t sound like Todd Howard will let anyone near the Wasteland in the near future. Despite Tim Story’s two Fantastic Four movies of the 2000s both featuring space-travel and/or aliens, Twentieth Century Fox has oddly neglected to take its X-Men franchise to the stars. Looking back now from 2016 it seems a lost opportunity for the long-running and successful superhero franchise, especially given the number of cosmic characters from Marvel Comics that Fox owns the rights to. Many classic X-Men comic book stories and iconic characters hail from space - including and perhaps most infamously, the Phoenix - but the live-action movies haven’t dug into that lore....
