The second trailer for the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody will release soon. The film is expected to arrive this November, detailing the career of the prolific lead singer of Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody’s first trailer released in May and did a great job at teasing the new film, but it was also met with a bit of outcry since it did nothing to address Freddie’s sexuality. Queen is one of the most iconic rock bands of all-time and, as such, a movie about their eccentric vocalist has been long gestating....

Danny Boyle is no longer directing Bond 25. Daniel Craig’s tenure as James Bond is coming to an end with just one more appearance slated. He’s already had four films, and was noticeably worn out by the time Spectre’s promotional campaign begun. After several remarks about how he was ready to walk away, he signed on to do one final film. His attachment gives Bond 25 the ability to be an end of an era instead of the beginning of a new one, and that made it a high-profile job for a director....

The year is almost over, but there are still plenty of games in 2018 that have yet to release. So far, this year has seen numerous, top-tier games hit store shelves, with some of them even going on to have record-shattering sales numbers. Among the many games that have hit consoles and PC this year are smaller titles like A Way Out and Agony to major, triple-A titles like God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man, along with multi-platform games such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2 sprinkled throughout....

Dwayne Johnson believes that his upcoming Black Adam movie should start filming in 2019. Johnson initially signed on to play the DC Comics supervillain-turned-anti-hero as part of Warner Bros.’ unofficially titled DC Extended Universe (DCEU) in 2014, but things have been slow going ever since. Up until last year, it was believed that Johnson would play the antagonist in David F. Sandberg’s Shazam! film, which is slated to release in 2019....

With 2018 winding down to a close, it’s time to take a look at the biggest box office developments of the year and what studios can learn from them. Over the past 12 months, nearly 800 movies opened in theaters, bringing in more than $11.5 billion domestically collectively. The pirate-themed MMO Atlas has almost arrived, and the full map released for the game is enormous. Studio Wildcard first announced the title at The Game Awards 2018, thrilling audiences with the concept of an MMO that featured pirates. Even more surprising, though, is that the game was set to arrive shortly after its announcement. Atlas takes inspiration from a previous title by Studio Wildcard, Ark: Survival Evolved. Like Ark: Survival Evolved, Atlas is a sandbox game, but its premise is that it lets players step into the role of pirates to capture islands, build their own ships and fight against other players in huge ocean battles....

Sam Rockwell enters final negotiations to portray an attorney in The Ballad of Richard Jewell. Based on the true story of the 1996 Olympics bombing (where security guard Richard Jewell was a falsely-accused suspect), the drama has been in development for a number of years, and was at one point going to serve as a reunion for Wolf of Wall Street co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill. After being passed over by multiple directors such as Paul Greengrass and Ezra Edelman, The Ballad of Richard Jewell finally got back on track in April, when Clint Eastwood (who initially circled the project in 2015) signed on to helm....
