Bill & Ted 3 remains a very distinct possibility, and fans will hopefully soon hear “news that will stick.” The update comes from original Bill & Ted stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, and screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. The first film in the franchise, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, was released in 1989 and presciently tapped into slacker/stoner culture, offering a slightly airier take on Back to the Future....
The first ads for Showtime’s Black Monday didn’t exactly obfuscate what sort show its creators intended it to be. A half-hour dark comedy about greed and power and excess is not necessarily something new or particularly original in today’s television landscape, so the series smartly gave itself a couple of advantages. One of those advantages comes in form of Don Cheadle, who makes his return to television after spending the past few years playing with Tony Stark and the Avengers, and not too long after his previous Showtime series, House of Lies, ended in 2016....
EON Productions is currently seeking actors to play the female lead and primary villain in the highly-anticipated Bond 25. This news comes just a day after rumors circulated that Idris Elba is being considered to play 007 after Daniel Craig’s final turn as the British super-spy in Bond 25, although Elba has since shot down those rumors. Before producers can even consider Craig’s replacement, they must first contend with rounding out the cast in Bond 25....
Bradley Cooper has entered talks to star in Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley. The actor is coming off the success of his directorial debut on the latest A Star is Born remake, which earned $434 million at the box office and took home several Oscar nominations (along with one win). Cooper also starred in the film as Jackson Maine, an alcoholic musician who romances a younger, up and coming singer-songwriter named Ally (Lady Gaga)....

Four time Oscar-nominee Annette Bening is joining the cast of Captain Marvel. Brie Larson is set to lead Marvel Studios’ first female solo movie, and production continues to move along in Los Angeles. The set has allowed for the usual amount of photos to leak, all of which focus on Larson in a Kree-version of Captain Marvel’s suit on Earth. Those photos are only highlighting a portion of the movie, as a great deal will focus on the Kree-Skrull war....
Developer CD Projekt Red is making more than one Cyberpunk 2077 game, according to a recent report about the studio. The developer is most famous for The Witcher game franchise that has become popular since the Polish studio took the reigns of its video game series, spawning a heavily-anticipated Netflix adaptation starring Henry Cavill. The studio’s follow-up to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is widely considered to be one of the greatest RPG games ever made, will by Cyberpunk 2077, an adaptation of the popular tabletop franchise Cyberpunk 2020....
