Bancontact cards now compatible with Apple Pay The official Bancontact website was updated this week to confirm that customers of Belfius Bank and Banx (a digital bank owned by Belfius) can now add their cards to Apple Pay. For those unfamiliar, Bancontact is an interbank network from Belgium similar to Mastercard and Visa. Belfius and Banx are the first banks to support Bancontact cards in Apple Pay.
