The new season of Arrested Development could see the return of a season 3 favorite, that is if Charlize Theron gets her way. At San Diego Comic Con, the Atomic Blonde actress confirmed her interest in reprising her role of Rita Leeds for season five, during Entertainment Weekly’s Women Who Kick (Butt) panel in Hall H. “I won an Academy Award and 5 days later was making Arrested Development, that’s still one of my proudest moments,” Theron said before telling the audience that she would love to reprise the role of Rita if the show runners asked her to....

Nearly all of the celebrity voice performers from Big Hero 6 will reprise their roles in the Disney-Square Enix video game Kingdom Hearts 3. Pulling in voice talent from the Disney films for Kingdom Hearts isn’t unusual, with the previous games in the series having voice performers from classic films like Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and even films as old as Alice in Wonderland reprising their memorable roles....

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther movie won’t reach theaters until 2018, but the title character - a.k.a. Cash App, the popular peer-to-peer payment platform that also offers crypto and other stock investing features, is disclosing a security breach affecting 8.2 million of its users. Block, formerly Square, disclosed this breach in a filing with the SEC this week. The company revealed that a former employee retained access to US customer information despite departing the company months earlier. Cash App is one of the most popular apps for iOS and a competitor to Apple’s own Apple cash service....

The Green Lantern Corps has been one of the major missing pieces from the DCEU up to this point, leaving many fans wondering who Warner Bros. will cast as each character. While an unnamed, ancient Green Lantern had a cameo in Justice League, neither Hal Jordan nor John Stewart was featured in the actual league lineup. Crackdown 3 has had a long and difficult development, but fans of the series now have a finite release date of February 15, alongside the announcement of a new multiplayer mode called Wrecking Zone. The news was revealed at X018, which also saw confirmation that Crackdown 3 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass as part of its worldwide launch on the same date. Dark Phoenix has received its official CinemaScore rating, marking it as the lowest of the entire X-Men franchise. Set in 1992, Dark Phoenix picks up 9 years after the events of X-Men: Apocalypse. With Charles Xavier’s band of mutants viewed more like heroes than threats, they are called upon for assistance following a distress signal from a space shuttle. Arriving on the scene, the team succeeds in rescuing the astronauts, but not before Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) is hit by a wave of cosmic energy known as The Phoenix Force....

DC’s upcoming Black Adam movie, starring Dwayne Johnson in the title role, is expected to begin filming in late 2020, according to producer Hiram Garcia. The character was originally going to be introduced in this year’s Shazam!, but Johnson himself suggested that the studio should hold off and have him star in his own solo movie instead. As a result, the main villain in Shazam! was Doctor Sivana - though we did get a brief glimpse of Black Adam....

Warner Bros.‘Joker origin movie will introduce him as a failed comedian in the 1980s. While the studio is still working on expanding their DC Comics-based shared universe, they’re not shying away from making other, non-connected DC films. For instance, they’re continuing to stay in the animated space with Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, to further appeal to kids. They’re also looking to branch out further by telling the Clown Prince of Crime’s origin story....

Deadpool 2’s dizzying array of pop culture references can be hard to keep up with, so you’d be forgiven for missing a joke about Kevin Spacey being recast with Christopher Plummer in Ridley Scott’s recent true-story thriller All the Money in the World. Keep a close eye out for a news report during the first act of the movie, where the ticker along the bottom of the screen features a news bulletin that says “Christopher Plummer turns down role in Deadpool 2....
