Ryan Reynolds made Deadpool a major star, and he’s brought a bunch of friends along for the sequel....

Dean Devlin has been active since the 1990s, where he wrote and produced the Roland Emmerich triple-whammy of Stargate, Independence Day and Godzilla, and since has produced a wide range of movies and TV projects. He’s now forging his own destiny with production company Electric Entertainment recently making the move into distribution (last year they released The Book of Love and LBJ). Is it possible Sony will announce a release date for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding at The Game Awards 2018? Rumors have surfaced suggesting the company will not only make such an announcement but also release new footage from the title. Death Stranding is the first title from Kojima since his highly publicized departure from Konami. He initially announced the title in 2016, although the first full trailer didn’t drop until E3 2018....

The first trailer for the eight-episode special event original drama series Manhunt: Unabomber has just made its way online. Starring Captain America: Civil War supporting player Paul Bettany as real-life American serial killer and domestic terrorist Ted Kaczynski and Avatar lead actor Sam Worthington as FBI agent Jim “Fitz” Fitzgerald. Tasked with hunting down Bettany as Kaczynski, Worthington is sure to turn in a worthwhile TV performance as Fitzgerald in the forthcoming small screen production....

New set video from Bond 25 shows stars Daniel Craig, Jeffrey Wright and Lashana Lynch and director Cary Fukunaga hard at work on the film in Jamaica. The follow up to 2015’s blockbuster Spectre, the 25th James Bond adventure marks Craig’s fifth time playing secret agent 007. This time around, Oscar-winner Rami Malek will provide the adversary for Bond, though exact details of Malek’s character are not yet known. Of course, there was a time when it looked like Craig would not be back for Bond 25, but ultimately the actor relented and agreed to return....

Titans star Brenton Thwaites has shared a moody behind-the-scenes photo of himself as Dick Grayson a.k.a. Robin, to celebrate the show wrapping its first season. Earlier today we saw two official promo images of Thwaites as Robin, looking battered and battle-weary, which also gave us our first full look at his costume. The show will launch later this year on DC Entertainment’s all-new subscription service, DC Universe, which will also include comics, movies, and other TV shows like Young Justice: Outsiders....

Channing Tatum reportedly might direct Gambit himself after all of the film’s prior troubles. Tatum joined Fox’s growing X-Men franchise back in 2014 to play Remy LeBeau in a solo Gambit movie. At the time, Fox was leading up to the release of X-Men: Days of Future Past and had plans to expand the X-Men franchise through solo movies and more team ups, with Gambit set to hit theaters in 2016 originally....

Charlie Cox supports the petition launched by fans to revive Daredevil. Playing the show’s lead Matt Murdock since 2015, the actor played the role four times - in three seasons of the show and in Marvel/Netflix’s ensemble project The Defenders in 2017. Being the most well-received among all offerings from the small screen franchise, fans were naturally shocked and frustrated when it was announced that Daredevil was canceled. The decision came after Netflix had already pulled the plug on Luke Cage and Iron Fist....

Last week, DSCC’s Ross Young reported that Apple is expected to launch a 27-inch iMac Pro with miniLED display and ProMotion technology during the spring of 2022 – the same period the company is expected to finally release the Universal Control feature....

Skyfall director Sam Mendes originally signed on to direct Pinocchio but bailed on the project last year. Another live-action Pinocchio project was previously reported to be gearing up at Warner Bros. That version reportedly nabbed Ron Howard to direct with Robert Downey Jr. starring as Geppetto. But the project appears to have stalled out as there have been no updates in two years....

With Black Panther having a successful live-action movie adaptation, there’s been plenty of attention paid to the title character. It looks as though a brief cancellation has done nothing to dim the lighthearted spirits of the 99th Precinct, as NBC welcomes Brooklyn Nine-Nine into its lineup. The shift from FOX to the Peacock network was one of the more interesting television exchanges of last year, bringing the feel-good comedy from Dan Goor and Mike Schur to the network that also happens to broadcast The Good Place. And, unsurprisingly, the two comedies complement one another very well, offering a one-two punch of sweet-natured laughs that suggest NBCUniversal should have shopped Nine-Nine to its own network from the get-go....
