Frank Avruch, the entertainer best known for his portrayal of Bozo The Clown, has died. Avruch was 89. He played Bozo on the legendary children’s television show Bozo the Clown from 1959 to 1970, becoming the first-ever Bozo to be nationally syndicated, and creating arguably the most recognizable portrayal of the character. According to a statement from his family, the entertainer died in his Boston residence from heart disease on Tuesday, March 20....

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld revealed the famous test footage that was created to pitch the original film was shot with Ryan Reynolds the weekend Green Lantern opened. While the Deadpool movies may be huge now, the first film had a famously tricky birth. Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut includes four different post-credits scenes - two variations on moments from the theatrical release and two brand new “Baby Hitler” stinger. Each one changes the extended sequence and, indeed, the meaning of the movie. It’s fair to say Deadpool 2 already had one of the best-ever after-credits sequences in all of superhero cinema. It started with Negasonic Teenage Warhead fixing Cable’s time travel device, allowing Wade to jump back through the events of the movie and beyond righting wrongs: he saves Vanessa (something that’s confirmed to be canon); helps Peter escape the X-Force massacre; kills his X-Men Origins: Wolverine alter ego; and finishes up by murdering Ryan Reynolds himself before he signs on for Green Lantern....

Deadpool 2 is the rare blockbuster sequel that is actually better than the original, and it manages to top the first by addressing Deadpool’s biggest problem. By most metrics, Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are tightly locked movies. They have the exact same score with critics on Rotten Tomatoes (83%), while the sequel is just one point higher on Metacritic (66 to 65). At the box office, the story is very similar, with the sequel posting only slightly lower opening weekend numbers and expected to have fairly strong legs even going up against the likes of Solo: A Star Wars Story....

Descript, a platform created for editing podcasts that has evolved into a video editor, is getting a major update this week. Bryan Singer is facing a lawsuit that alleges he raped a 17-year-old boy back in 2003. The director’s name has already been coming up in discussions about the wave of people in the media world who have been accused of sexual misconduct, but those past cases against him have been dismissed, though doubt continued to surround Singer and he continued to be a part of these conversations.
