Creed 2, the sequel to the smash hit Rocky franchise revival Creed, is set to go before cameras in Philadelphia beginning in February. Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan are expected to return for the second installment, which is being written by Stallone himself. The Rocky franchise had been dormant for years when writer/director Ryan Coogler brought it back to life in 2015 with Creed, a drama focusing on the relationship between an aging, cancer-ridden Rocky Balboa (Stallone) and up-and-coming boxer Adonis Creed (Jordan), the son of Rocky’s late nemesis-turned-friend Apollo Creed....

The madcap confusion that is Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency is back for a second season, and things are already making absolutely no sense (in the best possible way). Daniel Craig is expected to return to the Bond 25 set next week after recovering from his ankle injury. Following a bumpy road to production (which saw the entire creative team get overhauled), the latest installment in the legendary action franchise finally started rolling the cameras earlier this year, ahead of its scheduled 2020 release date. Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War is still weeks away, though positive reviews are already coming in. Almost everyone who’s appeared in a Marvel film in the past seems to be in the movie (save for Thor and The Hulk), as well as newcomers such as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther. One of the heroes that didn’t make the cut, though, was Hope Van Dyne, a.k.a. The Wasp. She apparently appeared in at least one draft of the script, but in the end the screenwriters felt that it was best to leave her out of the superhero slugfest....
