A Wrinkle in Time was a popular, award-winning sci-fi novel by Madeleine L’Engle published in 1963, that has enthralled generations of children and young adults. It was a rare science fiction book at the time to feature a female protagonist, while also focusing on sometimes complex concepts as the space-time continuum and the Tesseract. Aside from a Canadian TV production in 2003, there has never been a movie adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time....

Marvel TV didn’t tease Daredevil season 3 during their Netflix panel at Comic-Con 2018, which may mean the show won’t return until after Avengers 4. This year, Marvel Studios celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by releasing Avengers: Infinity War. However, the third Avengers film is the first part of a two-part story that will conclude in 2019 with Avengers 4; the ending of Infinity War saw Thanos complete his Infinity Gauntlet and use it to wipe out half the universe....

Also known as N’Jadaka, Erik’s father was Prince N’Jobu, the younger brother of the late King T’Chaka, the father of T’Challa. So even though Killmonger is American by birth, as a royal blood relative, he had the right to challenge T’Challa to ritual combat according to Wakandan law....

Moviegoers around the globe are finally getting a chance to see J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but well before Disney released the movie in theaters they were busy planning the franchise’s future. As crazy as it sounds, fans are only a year and a half away from Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is scheduled to hit theaters in May 2017. Johnson has already filmed certain sequences in Ireland, and principal photography will commence in the near future....

The DC Comics Rebirth event is starting today, and some shocking reveals are already coming down the pipeline. The event appears to be trying to find a balance between nostalgia and progress, and for now it seems to have DC fans pretty excited. One place that Rebirth is playing up the balance between progression and nostalgia is in its marketing. System updates will be released for all users next week. iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 bring new APIs such as Safari extensions, Shazam integration, deepened Focus mode support, and more. Developers who have new apps or updates with iOS 15 features can now submit them to the App Store ahead of the official release of iOS 15 on Monday....

Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo and the original Agent Carter herself, Hayley Atwell, attended Wizard World Comic-Con New Orleans over the weekend. During the event, Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo spoke during a Q&A where they tease a bit of information about the next Marvel project(s) they’re working on: the two-part Avengers: Infinity War. It began when Anthony accidentally referred to Hayley Atwell’s character as Sharon Carter (who’s actually played by Emily VanCamp) instead of Peggy Carter, to which his brother and co-director Joe corrected the slip and offered an interesting explanation as to why it’s easy to mix character names....

Despite recently hitting pay dirt with Suicide Squad, critical acclaim continues to elude Warner Bros. Pictures’ DC Extended Universe, perhaps most notably Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Despite featuring two of the most iconic and popular comic book characters in history together on the big screen for the first time, the movie was met with a polarizing mixed-to-negative response. Shortly after the movie’s release, a video of Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman) being informed of the early negative reviews for Batman V Superman rapidly went viral, with the actor looking visibly dejected at the news....

Character breakdowns for Black Widow have surfaced for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Scarlett Johansson solo movie. Although it has been months since it was first reported that Natasha Romanoff would be receiving her own film, there is still not much known about it.
