[SPOILERS for The Defenders ahead.] - A description for a new character in Daredevil season 3 hints at one of the comic book villains that Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) will battle next. Production for the third season of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil TV show is slated to begin this fall, with Cox returning alongside fellow series mainstays Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, respectively. Details beyond that, however, have yet to be revealed, though Daredevil season 2 and The Defenders showrunners Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez are expected to oversee Daredevil season 3 from behind the camera....

Hawaii Five-O has been around for decades. The original Hawaii Five-O aired in 1968 and aired until 1980. When the last episode aired, it was the longest running police drama in American history. Of course, this was before Law & Order’s heyday hit in the ’90s. Then, in 2010, it was decided to reboot the police drama with a new cast playing versions of the old characters. Oh, and they changed the “O” to a zero....

The meta feud between Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and the actor formerly known as Wolverine continues to hilariously rage as the Merc with a Mouth’s official Twitter brutally trolled Hugh Jackman. Deadpool was first adapted for the screen by Reynolds in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and despite the poor reception received by the film, Reynolds returned to the role for the more successful reboot and its subsequent sequel. The character of Wolverine, however, has been a staple of the X-Men universe since the very beginning....

A new rumor suggests that Warner Bros. and DC Films are seeking a biracial actress to play the role of Black Canary in the Birds of Prey movie. One of the many superhero movies Warner Bros. has in development at the moment, Birds of Prey centers upon an all female group of superheroes based out of Gotham City. The film, which is being produced by Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie as well as directed by Cathy Yan, will see Robbie’s Harley Quinn teaming with the titular team to face a new villain....

A new teaser trailer for Birds of Prey has offered up the first full view of the core cast of the upcoming superhero movie. The brief video rapidly showcases the film’s heroes and villains, and it seems like not all of the characters are in their most familiar forms from the comics. First seeing life as a series of one-shot comics focused on the partnership between the heroines Black Canary and Oracle, the first Birds of Prey monthly series was published by DC Comics in 1999....

When Black Panther finally made his big screen debut last year in Captain America: Civil War, it effectively did away with the need for an origin film for the character. And while he did initially take Tony Stark’s Iron Man’s side during the conflict between him and Captain America, it was mostly to avenge the murder of his father at the hands of Helmut Zemo (who he eventually stops from killing himself)....

A new scene from Blade Runner 2049 played during the Warner Bros. panel at SDCC, during which Ryan Gosling’s K gets a glimpse into the past. 2049 was second up on Warner Bros. two-hour panel, stuck between Ready Player One and Justice League. While both of those rightly created a lot of hype from their respective trailers, Blade Runner was devoid of points of interest. The panel opened up with a hologram of Jared Leto, and during the Q&A Harrison Ford made an attempt to distance himself from the long-standing Deckard-Replicant mystery....

Ash vs. Evil Dead star and producer Bruce Campbell is ripping into those who illegally download the STARZ TV series. Thirty-six years after the release of the first film in the Evil Dead trilogy, Campbell and his longtime collaborators Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are still at it with Ash vs. Evil Dead, which will begin its third season February 25, 2018, on STARZ. The first season debuted in 2015, 21 years after the third Evil Dead movie, Army of Darkness, ran in theaters, yet had little impact on the box office....

Infinity Ward has begun teasing weapon customization in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with the game’s new gunsmith. Customizable loadouts were first introduced in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and have since remained a series staple that has been refined and adapted in each successor. Infinity Ward became the harbinger of gun customization in the series as it would go on to define the multiplayer and competitive meta with each game....

Moviegoers outside of the U.S. have had the opportunity this weekend to see Captain America: Civil War a full week ahead of domestic audiences, who will get the chance to see it starting May 6. While fans in the U.S. have been sitting back and discussing the movie on social media as mostly positive reviews have rolled in, their namesake hero has been storming foreign box offices. First day international box office earnings for Civil War fell slightly below those of Marvel’s previous team-up, Avengers: Age of Ultron, causing some concern that the movie might not be on track to gross as much as its predecessor....

After 8 years and 12 movies, Marvel has built a substantial universe that keeps fans the world over in a state of steady anticipation. Chace Crawford has been cast in the Charles Manson biopic Charlie Says. Sometimes it seems like Hollywood never tires of telling the true life stories of serial killers. Another famous comic book character has joined DC’s Titans series as Donna Troy aka. Wonder Girl has been cast. The live-action series, which will launch on DC’s yet-to-be-named streaming platform, has been a huge topic of discussion among fans. Sadly, the buzz hasn’t always for the right reasons. Very little is confirmed about Titans, other than what characters will be appearing, but a lot of criticism has still been leveled at the show....

Ryan Reynolds has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at his upcoming film Detective Pikachu. Detective Pikachu will be the first ever live-action movie based on the popular card and video game series Pokémon, centering around the fan-favorite character Pikachu, voiced by Reynolds in the upcoming film. Both the Pokémon card game and video game came out in 1996, followed by an anime in 1997 giving fans their first TV show based on the combative pocket monsters....

Pikachu speaks - and sounds suspiciously like Ryan Reynolds - in the Pokémon: Detective Pikachu trailer. The live-action/CGI movie’s Detective Pikachu also has realistic fur and features, making him a far cry from his cartoony counterpart in the Pokémon video games and 2D animated films/TV shows. Legendary announced plans for their live-action Pokémon movie back in 2016, with Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) and Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) onboard as the film’s writers....
