New statistics about the choose-your-own movie Black Mirror: Bandersnatch show that 60 percent of Netflix viewers chose Frosties when prompted by the movie to select a morning cereal for the main character, Stefan. Bandersnatch is a standalone movie for Black Mirror, which is an anthology series on Netflix that focuses on the unintended consequences of technology. Although Netflix had already released one choose-your-own-adventure movie for kids, Puss in Boots, it was later announced that the streaming subscription provider would allow viewers to have a similar interactive experience with its more mature TV shows, such as Black Mirror....

It’s official: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is making the jump into the Battle Royale shooter genre. Ray Fisher believes he’ll return to play Victor Stone aka Cyborg again in the DC Universe. When Warner Bros. began building their DC shared universe, it didn’t take long for Zack Snyder’s 5-movie vision to expand. In 2014 the studio announced a full slate of films for the next several years to come. Some of the farther out titles at the time, such as Shazam!, have hit their targeted dates, but the majority of the rest haven’t found much progress....

Though originally conceived as four individual TV series for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, culminating in The Defenders miniseries, Netflix’s foray into Marvel heroes went way better than expected. Fans flocked to the gritty, noir, more down-to-earth portrayals of crimefighters Jones and Matt Murdock, and both earned season 2 renewals before their counterparts’ series had even aired. With Season 2 of Daredevil arriving next month, Netflix has been slowly building the suspense with new posters and teasers for the show....

Despite early fears that Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox might mean an end to the Deadpool franchise, the Merc with a Mouth seems to have a strong future ahead of him at Walt Disney Studios. Many fans were afraid that Deadpool would be forever sealed in the Disney Vault because of the acquisition, due to Disney’s policy of not releasing any films with an R-rating under their banner and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole being kept at a PG-13 level....
